Dr. Dikki Pedenla Bomzan, PhD in Science

The DC team sends a warm “Shout Out” to Dr. Dikki Pedenla Bomzan an Alumna of the West Point School, Darjeeling and a resident of Navin Gram Darjeeling for completing her Doctorate in Science from the prestigious CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Research Centre, Bengaluru under Dr. Dinesh A Nagegowda.

Currently, she has joined the Faculty of Science and Technology of Saint-Étienne Research Team in France and is also pursuing her Post Doctorate simultaneously.

Message for those who want to follow in her footsteps: “I would like to encourage our future generations to come forward, challenge yourself, don’t let the fear of failure and judgement hold you back. Because sometimes a little nudge, a little direction can help you find your potential.”

We congratulate Dikki and we are most hopeful that her success will inspire thousands of our youths, especially girls to pursue their vocation with passion and sincerity.
